Calalta Synchronized Skating is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, most of whom
are skaters on our teams. We are always looking to expand our club and teams and welcome new involvement! Can you
help us grow?
Sponsorship & Donations - Help us off-set our expenses. Synchro skaters spend many hours fundraising, as
well as paying out of pocket in order to skate and compete. Our yearly expenses include ice time, coaching fees,
travel, practice and competition wear, competition registration fees, etc. We welcome any sort of sponsorship or donation
directly to the teams, or to the Calalta Rose Bowl,
an annual competition hosted by our club. We also welcome contributions to our annual Silent Auction event.
Volunteer - Calalta Synchro and the Calalta Rose Bowl Synchronized Skating Competition require
a large volunteer base to ensure success each year. Volunteers are required to organize the Rose Bowl, and help run
the event each January. Calalta Synchro is run by an Executive and Committees made up entirely of volunteers as well. Most
of these members are skaters themselves, but we are open to outside ideas and support!
Skate With Us! - We recruit new skaters for our teams each spring and summer. Synchro experience is not required!
Come be a part of the fastest growing discipline of figure skating in the world, and one of the top clubs in Western Canada.
Our achievements are listed on our teams page. Our skaters are
students, medical health professionals, accountants, flight attendants, journalists, and even parents. Synchronized
skating will draw you in to a world of athleticism, artistry, and team work you never imagined!
